Stewart Ross – Author visits John of Gaunt

On Monday the 30th October we are very privileged to welcome the author Stewart Ross to John of Gaunt.

All Year 7 and Year 8 students will have the pleasure to join Mr Ross for an inspirational talk.

With over 300 published titles to his credit, Stewart Ross is now one of Britain’s most popular and versatile authors. His output includes prize-winning books for younger, novels, plays, librettos, a musical and many widely acclaimed works on history and sport. Several of his books are illustrated with his own photographs. Mr Stewart also lectures in France and the UK, gives talks, runs workshops, and visits schools. He is an occasional journalist and broadcaster.

His latest fiction books – the bestselling The Soterion trilogy – grabs young readers from the start. Think you’d like to live in a world without adults? Think again. Mr Ross will be bringing in the last instalment of the trilogy – The Salvation Project – for purchase at £5 and students will have an opportunity to have their books signed. The first two books will also be available to purchase, the price for all three books is £10. Any student wishing to purchase books will need to bring money in on the day.
