Lantern Festival – 30 November

“We have 15 year 7 and 8 students participating in the Lantern parade on Saturday evening this week.

Students worked with a local artist to create willow and tissue paper wings (that they will be wearing in the parade!) they will also be carrying pyramids lit up with our falcon emblem on.

The parade starts from St James’ church in town and will be culminating in the switch on of the Christmas lights in the town park.

Students had a fantastic day making their wings, and we can’t wait to see them lit up in the dark!”
