Results go up again for The John of Gaunt School
The Year11 students are enjoying the success their Year 13 counterparts did last week. The John of Gaunt School is pleased to announce that the average grades students gained at all ability levels have risen, leading to greater overall progress by the students of the school.
“I am so pleased for all the students who have attended school day-in, day-out and met the challenges of these exams head on”, said Ben Rhodes, Headteacher of The John of Gaunt School. “The mental strength, focus, energy and sense of community from our students always impresses me and so many of our students are now reaping the benefits. I want to congratulate all our young people in Year 11 and wish them well next year, whatever paths they take. I would also like to also thank the parents and carers for all their support over the years, as our students cannot reach their potential without them by their side. I am now looking forward to welcoming so many of our students back into Year 12 as they have gained the higher grades required for our sixth form.”
The number of John of Gaunt students gaining the top grades has increased this year, leading to more students meeting the entry requirements and remaining with us to study A-levels at Post-16.
The John of Gaunt School wishes every student its best wishes in the future and looks forward to hearing about their future achievements. ‘Once a JoG student, always a JoG student’.
