It was so lovely to see so many of our parents and carers at the Y9 options evening last Wednesday. There was a lovely atmosphere around the place, with some fantastic questions being asked. Ten Tors Training has already resumed for the year, in the shape of a 15 to 17-mile circuit of the Avebury area. The additional challenges on this walk were the extensive flooding and colder temperatures.
On Tuesday 19th December, the Music department held its annual Christmas Carol Concert at Holy Trinity Church.
The John of Gaunt School in Trowbridge has delivered 42 'JOG Festive Food parcels' (in 84 bags) to the Trowbridge Food Bank, Storehouse. Eight additional bags of general supplies were also given to this important local charity. Storehouse Manager, Jill Neighbour, was thrilled to receive the food parcels on Friday, helped by the charity’s team of volunteers and JOG staff.
